Life Coaching Institute at The New Learning Center
Life
coaching is a process that involves a collaborative alliance between
the coach and the client. Our quest is to unlock a person's hidden potential
in order to maximize his or her abilities, talents and creativity. In
life coaching, we assess every area of a person's life to see what is
working well and what is needed for achieving important life goals.
Life coaching has a high rate of success among motivated people who
want to move toward greater fulfillment in personal and/or professional
life. We use specific, measurable criteria and provide the client with
many concrete tools for achieving tangible goals. Our model of coaching
does not diagnose or treat, as one would in therapy. Unlike therapy,
it is a present and future-oriented process which focuses on solutions.
There are no geographical boundaries to this program. Trained coaches
can work with highly motivated people on-line, by telephone, or where
possible, at our Center or in your home or office. For further information,
contact the New Learning Center at (203)226-0100 or email
us.
This
is a nationally known program for couples and has been featured on shows
such as "Good Morning, America". The goal of the program is
to help each couple learn skills to handle their unique relationship.
Part of this skill comes from learning each partner's "partnering
style". In addition, couples learn communication skills and a ten
step conflict resolution procedure. "Prepare and Enrich" is
offered by Selbe Potter Ruggiero, an experienced
licensed clinical social worker specially trained in this program. For
